Megalithic desk

We collaborated with Anthropologie’s favorite carpenter Charles Chandler Co. to build this huge 8 foot by 3 foot concrete desktop for a retail center in New Jersey. It uses state-of-the-art GFRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete) to reduce the weight from 1300lbs to 300lbs. It has recycled glass inclusions in the center panel.
